FAQ
HOW DO WE BOOK?
To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee and our signed contract is required. Unfortunately we cannot hold any dates without the retainer and contract. An updated invoice that reflects your paid retainer and confirms your booking will be provided as soon as your retainer has been paid. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your wedding date.
WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE ELSE?
Each Photographer has a different style. I love to have fun and capture you how you truly are. No fake smiles. No awkwardness. I love being able to capture such a precious moment in your life for you to remember forever. I also love the wonderful people that my job brings into my life!
Do you shoot destination weddings?
We call beautiful Lisbon - Portugal our home, where we live in constant awe of the vast and diverse natural beauty that surrounds us. Although we absolutely love shooting weddings in and around the Lisbon, we’re always keen and excited to document weddings anywhere in the world. For local weddings, accommodation requirements depend on the distance from Lisbon. For weddings outside the Lisbon - Portugal that requires flights, a minimum of 2 days accommodation is also required.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Your high resolution images will be delivered digitally via an online gallery with download links. Photo books will be delivered personally when possible or via courier.
I'M REALLY AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. HELP!
Ironically, so am I. Don’t worry – the best shots happen when you don’t notice I'm there. I’ll give a little bit of relaxed direction during the couple shots and family shots, but most of the time I’ll stay discreetly out of the way of you and your guests.
CAN YOU SHOOT MY WEDDING VIDEO?
No, but I can recommend some great videographers who I've worked with in the past. Let me know in advance if you are booking a videographer, as this will affect the way I work on the day so I can plan accordingly.
CAN I HAVE THE UNEDITED PHOTOS?
Short answer: no. During a wedding, I take 2000+ photos but many of these will be near-duplicates (sometimes capturing 6 frames per second). Some will be lighting tests as I adjust camera settings for each new perspective; others are rejected for things like blinking. I shoot in RAW mode and each file is 30MB so the transfer alone would be a nightmare! If you like my style, please trust my process.
